How does the design deposit work?

If your project is approved for custom design, OALLO may request a design deposit before beginning design work.

The deposit amount will be stated in your proposal or invoice and is typically credited toward your final purchase if you move forward within the stated timeframe.

Why can’t you give an exact final price from the intake form alone?

Custom jewelry pricing depends on final design direction, metal weight, stone type and quality, dimensions, sourcing conditions, and production complexity.

Your Feasibility Review gives you an initial range. A confirmed quote follows once the design scope is defined.

What happens to the photos or inspiration files I upload?

We use uploads only to evaluate your request, communicate with you, and, if you move forward, design and produce your piece.

We do not publish customer submissions without separate permission. Please avoid uploading sensitive personal documents.

Can you recreate a design from another brand exactly?

No. Reference images are used for inspiration and feasibility only.

OALLO does not copy protected designs from other brands or makers. We can help create an original piece informed by your direction.

How long will a custom project take?

The Feasibility Review is typically answered within 48 hours.

If your project moves into design, timelines depend on complexity, revisions, sourcing, and production capacity. Any dates provided before final production confirmation are estimates.

Are custom pieces refundable?

Custom, made-to-order, modified, resized, personalized, or engraved pieces are generally final sale once you approve the final design specifications and OALLO begins production.

If the item arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially inconsistent with the approved specifications, contact OALLO within 48 hours of delivery.

Can I return ready-to-wear jewelry?

Non-custom, non-personalized ready-to-wear jewelry may be returned within 14 days of delivery if it is unused, unworn, undamaged, unaltered, in original packaging, and approved for return before shipment.

Some items, including earrings, final sale items, resized items, engraved items, personalized items, and altered items, may not be returnable.

Do you ship insured?

Unless otherwise stated in writing, OALLO will insure shipments for their declared value while in transit.

High-value orders may require signature confirmation, adult signature, hold for pickup, or address verification.

Do you work with customer-provided stones or heirloom jewelry?

For launch, no. OALLO will not accept customer-provided stones, heirlooms, or materials as a standard service.

These may be considered case-by-case later with separate written terms and insurance review.

What should I do when my package arrives?

Inspect the package promptly.

If the package appears damaged, tampered with, incomplete, or missing, contact OALLO within 48 hours of delivery at hello@oallo.com with photos and your order details.
