Design Deposit
If OALLO determines that your project is feasible and you wish to proceed, we may request a design deposit before beginning custom design work.
The design deposit amount will be stated in your proposal or invoice. The standard OALLO design deposit is $200, with a $150–$300 range depending on project complexity.
What the Design Deposit Includes
The design deposit may include:
- Project intake review and feasibility confirmation
- One design brief based on your approved direction
- One initial design concept set
- Up to two rounds of reasonable design revisions
- Preliminary sourcing and pricing work
- One final quotation for production
The design deposit does not include unlimited revisions, production, materials, stones, CAD work, casting, setting, engraving, shipping, taxes, insurance, or other services unless expressly stated in writing.
Credit Toward Purchase
If you place your custom order within 60 days after OALLO issues your final quote, the design deposit will be credited toward the final purchase price.
If you do not place the order within that period, OALLO may, in its discretion, apply the deposit later, re-quote the project, or require a new deposit.
Deposit Is Not the Final Order Price
The design deposit is not the full price of the jewelry. Final pricing may change based on final design direction, metal type and weight, stone type, stone size, stone quality, ring size or measurements, production complexity, supplier pricing, market price changes, taxes, shipping, insurance, duties, handling, and customer-requested changes.
Refundability
The design deposit is fully refundable only if OALLO determines, after payment, that the project is not feasible or OALLO declines the order before design work begins.
If you cancel before OALLO begins design work, OALLO may refund the deposit minus any non-recoverable payment-processing, consultation, sourcing, or administrative costs disclosed to you in advance.
Once OALLO has begun design work, prepared concepts, created a design brief, contacted production partners, or started sourcing specifically for your project, the design deposit becomes non-refundable.
Additional Revisions
Requests that materially change the approved direction or exceed the included revision rounds may require an additional design fee and a revised timeline.
No Production Without Final Approval
OALLO will not begin production until final design specifications are approved in writing, required payments are received, OALLO confirms the project for production, and any required terms are accepted.
